Colm Murphy's current entries
19 January 2012
A really positive response to our newest recruit and we now have only four shares available.
Our Presenting gelding will now race in the name of Presenting Beara which was confirmed by HRI today.
16 January 2012
A great start to the new year with our latest recruit, pictured right, settling in this week to her new environment. She is a five year old mare who we have on a free lease for her racing career. She is by Saddlers Hall and is a full sister to three winners including Grade 2 winner Master of the Hall and 144 rated Featherbed Lane. As she is on a free lease, there is no upfront cost and 10% shares are available at just €2,300 per annum or €195 per month.
We had more good news with Raise The Beat getting the all clear to return to training. Our Presenting four year old is on a break with Tropical View.
17 November 2011
After a busy few weeks for the stable and three graded wins (Quito De La Rocque, Big Zeb and Voler La Vadette), it's back to quieter times this weekend. That gives us the opportunity to host our annual social gathering of syndicate members and we've taken a table in the Panoramic Restaurant at Punchestown this Sunday, featuring the Morgiana Hurdle.
On the horses front, following six weeks of road work, we re-scanned Raise The Beat and have decided to give him a little longer off, just to be safe. He should be back in training in the Spring. Unfortunately, Tropical View's troubles continue and he fractured his cannon bone. We were so close to getting him to the track and he was showing plenty at home. We will give him 10 weeks off and start again. Our latest recruit, by Presenting, is moving well and lets hope that continues.
Winning Ways Racing is looking for new members and also new horses. We came very close to acquiring a horse with some good bumper form in the last few weeks but, alas, it was not to be. We will continue our search and we are also considering leasing a filly.
7 September 2011
Some good news yesterday as Raise The Beat's tendon was scanned and given the all clear. He will do 6 weeks of road work to strengthen up the tendon and go back into training then with Colm.
Tropical View is nearing a run, hopefully at the end of the month.
Erins Oscar is back in full training for five weeks now and is progressing while our newest recruit, by Presenting, went on a break after being broken and is due back into training soon.
6 August 2011
Brave Inca Wins Again!!
Brave Inca won the racehorse to riding horse class at the RDS on Saturday, beating Mansony and Accordion Etoile in the process. This is the second time Brave Inca has won this class after taking the rosette in 2009, the year he retired from racing. Now 13, Brave Inca is full of life and will be joining his younger stable mates on the gallops during the winter. Pictured right is Brave Inca with his rider, Louise Walsh.
19 July 2011
Its been all change for Winning Ways Racing since the start of April. We have been busy filling a new syndicate and acquired a lovely Presenting 3 year old at the Tattersalls Derby sale for €20k (pictured right). We now have a new syndicate and hope to acquire at the Tattersalls August sales.
Kimberlite King was sold at the Doncaster sales in May. Tim Vaughan bought him and there will be plenty of opportunities for him in the UK.
Tropical View has strengthened up and went back into training at the end of June. He has endured a few serious problems over the last 18 months but we hope those are now behind him and we will know more in September.
Our Oscar 4 year old that we acquired in 2010 is now named Erin's Oscar and he will be going back into training next week. One to watch for the future but he's too nice a horse to pushed too hard too early. Spring 2012 is the target for him.
Raise The Beat has recovered well from his tendon injury and will be returning to training in September. This dual bumper winner will be targetted at a maiden hurdle in Leopardstown over Christmas.
7 April 2011
Raise The Beat picked up a little injury in Cheltenham which explains his poor run. He will now be rested for the Summer and come back next Autumn. Kimberlite King is entered in the Doncaster Horses In Training sale on 21 April. He'll make a very decent recruit to a UK yard.
Tropical View's cannon bone is perfect again and he will come back in the Autumn. Our latest recruit, Wilde At Heart, is doing swinging canters and will have another months work before heading off on his Summer holidays.
14 March 2011
Raise The Beat runs at Cheltenham on Wednesday in the Champion Bumper. His preparation has gone well and he's travelled over without any issues. The ground will suit and he should stay the trip well. It's now just a case of whether he is good enough but his 10 owners are getting very excited at the prospect of a Festival runner.
Kimberlite King ran a fine race in 3rd at Navan. We will try to find another opportunity for him in the short term and he has also been entered for the sales as he will have much more opportunities in the UK.
19 February 2011
Following the abandonment of the Naas meeting, Kimberlite King is now being aimed at Navan next weekend where he should get his favoured soft ground conditions.
Raise The Beat's preparations for Cheltenham have not started in earnest. Tropical View will go back into training at the end of the month while our latest horse, Wilde At Heart, is on a short break.
4 February 2011
Kimberlite King runs in the handicap chase at Naas on 5 February. With all the rain falling, his chances are improving. Raise The Beat will be targeted at the Cheltenham bumper and his owners, many of whom are first time owners, are looking forward to living the dream.
28 January 2011
All quiet with our horses at the moment. Raise The Beat was due to run in Gowran but the ground was too soft. He will be aimed at the Cheltenham bumper now and his syndicate are very excited at the prospect. Kimberlite King will run in the next fortnight after picking up a little knock when disappointing at Limerick. Tropical View is now back in training while our latest recruit, by Oscar, continues to impress us.
29 December 2010
Given the heavy ground in Leopardstown, Raise The Beat was not declared for the bumper today. Kimberlite King is declared for the 2m3f handicap chase in Limerick tomorrow.
23 December 2010
With all the snow around, it is looking unlikely that Kimberlite King will get to race on the 27th in Limerick. After a fine run when second in Down Royal he was unfortunate that the ground at Fairyhouse was far too good for him. Thankfully, he came out of the race ok and was dropped 1lb by the handicapper. Once conidtions are heavy, he will be in his element. Raise The Beat is entered for leopardstown on 29th. It's a Grade 2 bumper and should tell us where we are going with this dual bumper winner. He wouldn't want the ground too soft.
Tropical View has fractured a cannon bone and will be out of action for a few months. Our Oscar, to be named Wilde At Heart, is still in training but will go on a break soon.
2 November 2010
Kimberlite King entered for a two mile handicap chase at Down Royal on Friday.
17 October 2010
Another winner for Winning Ways Racing as Raise The Beat was a comprehensive winner of the bumper in Naas. Starting at 7/1, he travelled extremely well and once Mikey Fogarty made his move it was over in a matter of strides. He will come on a lot for the run and we expect him to progress further. Here's what the Racing Post says about him:
"RAISE THE BEAT won this in some style to complete an across-the-card bumper double for Colm Murphy, successful with Captain Paulie at Cork. Produced in fine shape for his first run since winning at Down Royal in May, the Beat All gelding was clearly travelling best from early in the straight and quickened up to overtake Dynamic Approach who made a lot of the running in a bid to supplement the win gained on his debut at Thurles last season. There was plenty of market confidence behind the second, and in beating him so decisively Raise The Beat advertised his prospects for a long-term future over jumps."
15 October 2010
Raise The Beat declared for the bumper on Sunday. He is fit and well and we think he has improved since last season and if he runs a good honest race, we will be delighted. The trip is a step into the unknown but if he stays we would be hoping for a top three finish.
11 October 2010
Raise The Beat entered for a winners bumper on Sunday. Entries can be found here.
16 September 2010
Good luck to Matt O'Connor, conditional jockey with Colm Murphy, who has moved to the UK to join Tim Vaughan's successful yard. Matt's claim will increase from 3lbs to 5lbs over there and Winning Ways Racing would like to wish him the best of luck with his new challenge and we hope Matt will ride for us again in the future. Matt rode Kimberlite King to victory in a beginners chase in February 2010.
5 September 2010
We have three horses now back in training. Raise The Beat and Kimberlite King have been back a month and Tropical View has just returned to training. Our new Oscar (pictured below) has just gone on a break and will be back in training at the end of September.

13 August 2010
Raise The Beat has now returned to training and our new lad, by Oscar, has gone on a break. Tropical View is due back in by the end of August.
10 August 2010
Our latest syndicate, which bought a 3 year old by Oscar, is now sold out!!
Kimberlite King returned to training on Saturday.
6 July 2010
The horses are enjoying the fine weather and will go back to work at the end of the month. Expectations are high for this season:
Kimberlite King - one a very reasonable chase mark and will be intensively schooled to iron out his slow jumping style. He knows how to do it, he just needs the confidence. He is well suited to soft/heavy ground and 2 - 2.5 miles.
Raise The Beat (pictured top right)- our new star, he will be aimed at a winners bumper or a maiden hurdle. He wouldn't want the ground on the soft side.
Tropical View (pictured bottom right) - has recovered from his minor stifle operation and will be aimed at bumpers.
New recruit (by Oscar) - is a really hardy type and is taking well to being broken. He will take advantage of the last few months of fine weather in August/September and go into work then. We will know more after the turn of the year.
26 June 2010
We bought a new horse (pictured right with Colm Murphy) at the Tattersalls Derby sale today. While prices for the middle (€15k-€50k) and top tier (€50k+) were quite strong, the lower end was very weak. We saw some lovely horses over the two day sales and it's clear that if you want a horse by some of the stand-out stallions like Presenting or Flemensfirth, you will have to pay plenty for them. Also, Westerner was quite a hit as he's had flat winners in France and this is his first crop of national hunt horses. They certainly look the part, but can they jump?
Our new recruit is typical of the type we buy at the sales....a really nice individual with some size about him and a good mover with a relatively light page. At the end of the day, you pay for what's on the page first and the horse second so by trying to identify first or second foals you are at least not paying a premium if the mare has produced a few winners. Luckily for us, the dam, Shanesia, has produced a winner from her only previous foal and being by Oscar (sire of Big Zeb and Peddlers Cross), he should hopefully be speedy enough for bumpers but have the right aptitude for jumping. He will be broken now and then go on a short break before going into full work.
Shares are still available in this smashing three year old.
2 June 2010
Raise The Beat did not run at Leopardstown and he has now joined our other horses on a Summer break and will return to action in late September, early October.
28 May 2010
Raise The Beat is declared for the winners bumper at Leopardstown on Sunday. With plenty of rain forecast tomorrow, we hope there will be sufficient ease in the ground to allow us to run. The ground is currently Good to Firm, Firm in places and we would hope for just good ground.
3 May 2010
Another winner for Winning Ways Racing as Raise The Beat cruises to a three length victory in the bumper at Down Royal. Tucked in behind runners until before the turn in, Michael Doran made smooth headway on Raise The Beat and only had to apply minimal pressure to scoot clear for an easy success. Seven of the ten members of the Winning Ways Enigma syndicate were present (see picture right), many first time owners, and there was plenty of champagne flowing after this 16/1 success.
21 April 2010
Raise The Beat is entered for a bumper at Punchestown on Friday but is more likely to run in Limerick or Down Royal on Bank Holiday Mondy, 3 May. He's done well recently and we are hopeful he will run a decent race and run into the places at least.
Kimberlite King and Tropical View will go on their Summer holidays now and be back in training in July.
Places are still available for our next syndicate, Winning Ways Momentum. If you'd like more information, please contact us.
8 April 2010
With atrocious conditions in Fairyhouse, Kimberlite King did well under a big weight to be in contention at the last when unseating his rider. That's probably his last run of the season as the ground is drying out.
Raise The Beat is now ready to run when the ground turns good. His target will be a bumper. Tropical View had some key hole surgery for a little stifle problem and will go on his Summer break now. We will have him back in training in June.
5 April 2010
Kimberlite King runs in the 2m6f novice handicap chase at Fairyhouse tomorrow. With conditions to suit, we are hopeful of a decent run if his jumping holds up.
Raise The Beat is now ready to run, having pleased in a recent gallop. As he wants good ground, we are in no rush and hopefully he will get his ground over the coming weeks.
Tropical View picked up a little knock last week and we are just waiting to have him scanned to see if there is any damage.
24 February 2010
Kimberlite King was succesful today in a beginners chase in Fairyhouse. The delighted Aspirations syndicate saw their charge comfortably beat Errit Lake and Askmeroe. Jumping well and enjoying the step up in trip and ground, it was a deserved success after running well behind some extremely good horses earlier in the season. We will aim him for a nocie handicap chase in Navan in a fortnights time.
6 February 2010
Kimberlite King finished second to Across The Bay in the beginners chase at Naas today. As his last run was in early December, his jumping was a little rusty. He came home with no nicks or cuts and should be out again before the end of the month.
21 January 2010
Kimberlite King is back in training now after his knock and will hopefully run in a few weeks.
Winning Ways Racing is proud to be sponsoring the Racehorse Shares Available at WinningWaysRacing.ie Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday. This day last year was particularly special as Brave Inca won the Irish Champion Hurdle after coming back from injury.
17 January 2010
Unfortunately Kimberlite King picked up a pre-race knock and was unable to take up his engagement at Fairyhouse.
15 January 2010
Irish racing is back!! Naas race on Saturday with Fairyhouse and Thurles on Sunday.
Kimberlite King has been declared for the beginners chase at Fairyhouse on Sunday and will be ridden by Matt O'Connor, who has won a bumper and maiden hurdle on him already. The heavy ground will suit him although he has a tough task against Cousin Vinny. A safe round of jumping should see him right there.
30 December 2009
Kimberlite King is entered for a 2 mile novice chase at Naas on Sunday.
Raise The Beat is now back in training and was looking extremely well on a recent visit to the yard.
29 December 2009
Winning Ways Racing sponsored the concluding bumper at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival today. Congratulations to connections of Don't Turn Bach on his hard fought victory. Winning owner Cathal McCarthy received the race trophy from Ruth Crean, mother of Winning Ways Racing syndicate manager Oran Crean.
14 December 2009
Following Kimberlite King's second fourth placed finish, we are hopeful that he can open his account on his outing and he is entered for the 2 miles beginners chase at Navan on Saturday. He may also be entered for a similar contest in Limerick over Christmas.
Raise The Beat is also on a break and will go into training again after Christmas. Colm has stepped up The Brown Bomber's work and he's very happy with his progress so far.
6 November 2009
Kimberlite King runs in a two mile begginers chase at Navan on Sunday with Davy Russell taking the ride. Davy rode him previously and, coincidentally, that was his first run over hurdles. He is fit and, while his jumping will improve with time, the heavy ground will really suit him. A safe round of jumping and a top five position would be a great introduction.
26 October 2009
With the national hunt season in full swing, Kimberlite King continued his preparation for his chasing bow with some schooling at the Curragh. Ridden by Alan Croweand on the near side, he schooled with Mick The Man (Matt O'Connor) and Big Zeb (Barry Geraghty). He will be ready to run in a few weeks with a beginners chase at Navan in early November his likely target.
Our newest recruit, The Brown Bomber (see video below), was out early on Saturday morning in Pat Cloke's Wexford yard. Despite the wet and blustery conditions, he covered six circuits of Pat's small gallop. He will go into training with Colm in three weeks.
29 September 2009
Kimberlite King is now up to swinging canters and is schooling away. If the weather were to turn and the ground soften, he could be ready to run at the end of the month. Rasie The Beat has also stepped up in his work but, being a bit weak, we will have to see how he gets on over the next three weeks before deciding a plan. Our latest recruit, now provisionally named The Brown Bomber, has done really well for his break after pre-training and has returned to the care of Pat Cloke who will get him to a stage of fitness where he can go to Colm. We have high hopes for him.
1 September 2009
Syndicate members paid a visit to Colm Murphy's yard last weekend for the first time in the 2009/2010 season. Kimberlite King and Raise The Beat were going through their paces and all looked very well. Kimberlite King has now fully developed into his big frame and will hopefully be a force in graded novice chases this season. Raise The Beat will take a little longer as he has grown again over the Summer.
18 August 2009
A busy month despite the Summer holidays. Brave Inca took part in the Ex-Racehorse to Riding Horses Class in the RDS. Ridden by Kirsteen Reid, Brave Inca won first prize in a field of twenty that included champions Kicking King and Moscow Flyer and some old favourites like Colonel Rayburn and Assured. Despite only being retrained for this event (which included moving from a walk to trot/canter, and focused on conformation) for seven weeks, the judges Guy Landau and Ian Stark commented on how well he rode and was a deserving winner. The syndicate and Colm were delighted and he will return to the RDS next year to defend his crown.
Kimberlite King and Raise The Beat have now returned to Colm. Kimberlite King has come on a lot for his Summer off and if we can get his jumping right, he should have another profitable season. Raise The Beat has grown again and will need further time to develop.
6 July 2009
All shares in the new Winning Ways Dream syndicate, which recently purchased a three year old son of Definite Article at the Goffs Land Rover sale for €24,000, have now been succesfully placed. Unnamed, this fine racey type is being broken in Pat Cloke's yard.
The other Winning Ways horses are currently in Tim Nolan's Jamestown House Stud where they are enjoying a break.
6 May 2009
Following a disappointing effort in the 3 miler at Punchestown, Brave Inca was retired yesterday. A tremendous performer over the years, he won ten Grade 1s and joined an illustrious list that includes Moscow Flyer, Istabraq and Beef Or Salmon. He will be retired to Colm's yard and will enjoy leading the young horses.
Raise The Beat makes his eagerly awaited debut in the bumper at Killarney on Sunday.
29 April 2009
Brave Inca runs in the 3 mile Ladbroke Hurdle at Punchestown tomorrow and this is likely to be his swansong. He is in great form and hopefully will go out with another flash of brilliance.
Raise The Beat is entered for a 2 mile bumper at Limerick on Monday, having been balloted out of the Land Rover bumper on Tuesday. Kimberlite King disappointed on his most recent start in Cork where the soft ground was expected to suit. He will go out on grass now for the Summer.
15 April 2009
Given the quick ground conditions on Tuesday, Kimberlite King did not take up his entry at Fairyhouse. He will be entered for a number of races at the end of the month, including the Grade 1 novice hurdle at Punchestown. His run is very much dependent on soft ground as is that of Brave Inca. Raise The Beat on the other hand will like good ground and is still on course for the Land Rover bumper for the Winning Ways Enigma syndicate.
9 April 2009
Kimberlite King is entered for the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse next Tuesday. With the ground drying and an unsettled forecast, we will decide closer to the day if he runs.
Brave Inca is in great form and will be aimed at Punchestown, with any run very much ground dependent. Raise The Beat is in light work as he is just struggling to hold condition as his body grows. He is still being aimed at the Land Rover bumper at Punchestown.
17 March 2009
Following Brave Inca's disappointing run at Cheltenham, it appears that the yard may be suffering from a slight bug with some of the younger horses being most affected. This should pass in the coming weeks but probably explains his poor running.
Kimberlite King is back in full training now and will be aimed at Fairyhouse, Punchestown and possibly France. His engagements will be very ground dependent but it was encouraging to see his run behind Go Native franked when that horse won the Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Raise The Beat is one of those youngsters under the weather and he has given a few coughs. He will be on the easy list for a few weeks and will be aimed at the Land Rover bumper at the end of april.
8 March 2009
Following Kimberlite King's fine third in a Grade 2 at Naas, we head to Cheltenham with Brave Inca. Dominic Elsworth takes the ride and Brave Inca is in very very good form.
Kimberlite King has a dose of the flu at the moment and will have a few weeks off. Raise The Beat is unlikely to run before the Land Rover bumper in April. He continues to please Colm but is only likely to have one run this season before his Summer break.
The Winning Ways Dream syndicate has five members and once we have one or two more, we will be ready to go to the sales so if you would like to join us in this syndicate, then please contact us for further information.
18 February 2009
Kimberlite King will line up in the two mile Grade 2 on the same Naas card. Although we would have preferred to drop him in class for his next outing and stepped him up in trip, there are very few opportunities for him at the moment so we will take our chances and the galloping track should suit.
8 February 2009
Brave Inca secured a remarkable second win in the Irish Champion hurdle, battling from the second last as Muirhead cruised up behind him. Not for the first time, Brave Inca found plenty and following his return from injury, posting a historic win. He will now be aimed at a return to his favourite track, Cheltenham, for the Champion Hurdle.
Kimberlite King disappointed on his latest start in a Grade 2 at Punchestown won by Mikael D'Hauganet. The inside track was just too sharp for him and he will be stepped up in trip next time.
Raise The Beat is expected to make his eagerly awiated debut over the coming month.
24 January 2009
Scorcher, trained by Willie Mullins, won the winningwaysracing.ie & Talking Horses (Pro/Am) Flat Race at Navan on 24 January. Members of Talking Horses and Winning Ways Racing presented the trophy to Sean O'Driscoll and his wife.
23 January 2009
Brave Inca returns to action in the Toshiba Irish Champion hurdle and with the soft ground in his favour, he should run a solid race. We have entered two pacemakers in the race to ensure a proper gallop which was missing from the Christmas Hurdle.
Kimberlite King is likely to appear again in a Grade 2 next weekend at Punchestown or the Grade 1 Deloitte Hurdle at Leopardstown the following week. Raise The Beat continues to progress and is due to have his first strenous gallop next week when we will find out what ability he has and whether we can run him soon.
12 January 2009
On 24 January Winning Ways Racing and Talking Horses, a UK based racing forum, sponsor the winningwaysracing.ie & Talking Horses (Pro/Am) Flat Race at Navan in aid of cancer research organisation ICORG.
3 January 2009
Happy New Year to all. Members of all the Winning Ways syndicates attended our latest stable visit today.
While Brave Inca and Big Zeb went through their paces in first lot, with Raise The Beat out in third lot and continues hisprogress towards the racecourse.
Pictured below is Raise The Beat.
29 December 2008
The Leopardstown Christmas fesitval closed today with Brave Inca running a gallant race to finish third in the Christmas Hurdle. While he had a decent preparation, he had only been ticking over and will be better for the run and a stronger pace. He will now be aimed at the Irish Champion Hurdle.
Elsewhere at Leopardstown, Big Zeb added to Colm Murphy's haul of Grade 1s when winning the Dial-a-bet chase on the second day of the fesitval. This was Big Zeb's second grade 1 win and he was given a superb ride by stable jockey Matt O'Connor. Colm was also on the mark with Voler La Vadette, winner of a maiden hurdle on the opening day. The stable continues in good form and we hope this recent streak of good form continues into the new year.
20 December 2008
Kimberlite King made it three wins from three on soft ground when winning a maiden hurdle at Navan today by four and a half lengths. He will now be upped in grade and hopefully can hold his own in graded company.
The post race review by the Racing Post:
"He's far from the finished article, but KIMBERLITE KING did put last season's couple of disappointments in maiden hurdle company behind him with an authoritative success here. He does seem to be a horse for whom the ground can't be testing enough, and this helped his jumping which was adequate for most of the journey. He travelled well to the front early in the straight and with the inside rail to help him managed to open up a few lengths before the second last. That was just as well as he made a mess of the final two flights when out on his own. He's potentially a very decent horse when getting his ideal conditions, but his jumping in better company is always likely to be his achilles heel if it doesn't improve."
18 December 2008
Kimberlite King makes his eagerly awaiting seasonal debut on Saturday at Navan. He is fit and ready to rock and roll but will improve for the run and the experience. However, the Aspirations syndicate are looking forward to their charge lining up on Saturday.
Brave Inca is still on target for the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown. A jockey booking will be confirmed closer to the day.
Raise The Beat is continuing to progress well and we should know more over the coming weeks with him.
29 November 2008
Brave Inca returns to action in the Grade 1 Hattons Grace hurdle over 2m4f tomorrow at Fairyhouse. While he will come on for the run, we are hopeful that he will run a big race. Davy Russell takes the ride for the first time.
Members of the various Winning Ways syndicates enjoyed a social gathering in Dicey Reillys on Dublin's Harcourt St. last night. It gave members of each syndicate an opportunity to meet up outside of the racetrack and also to share their experience with members of the other syndicates.
Following on from that successful night, members attended a stable visit where they saw several of Colm Murphy's stars go through their paces including Brave Inca, Big Zeb and Zaarito among others. It also gave members an opportunity to see their charges. Kimberlite King went out in second lot and is doing steady canters. It is likely to be a few weeks before he runs. Raise The Beat is recovering from a dose of ringworm and will be going back into training in a few weeks.
Pictured on right from top to bottom are: Big Zeb (on near side), Zaarito with Matt O'Connor, and Raise The Beat.

"Murphy stars on the way back" from Irish-racing.com
20 November 2008
Brave Inca completed his preparation work for the Hattons Grace hurdle on 30 November with a racecourse gallop. With two companions, Brave Inca came through smoothly in the final furlong and looked incredibly well.
15 November 2008
Kimberlite King is likely to run over the coming three weeks with a maiden hurdle his target. Raise The Beat is in light work with Colm and may have a short break on the run up to Christmas. His brother, Star Beat, finished fourth in a handicap hurdle over the weekend on unsuitably soft ground. Brave Inca has recovered from his setback and is now being aimed at the Hattons Grace. His work this week has been very good and we hope he will return to his old form on the racetrack.
9 November 2008
Brave Inca is recovering from a minor setback and will miss the Morgiana. Kimberlite King continues to progress and Raise The Beat has just joined the rest of the Winning Ways team in Colm's yard.
31 October 2008
Brave Inca is due to run in the Morgiana Hurdle in mid November and Colm is very pleased with his progress. While he is a little older, he is showing as much enthusiasm as ever for the game. Kimberlite King has recovered from a minor injury he sustained in schooling in early October and he is due to run in the next three weeks. Raise the Beat will be joining Colm over the coming weeks. All those involved in his pre-training to date have been extremely pleased with him and hopefully he will have a clean run to Christmas.
12 October 2008
Unfortunately Kimberlite King knocked himself in a schooling session on Sunday and his return has been delayed for another week or two.
